Valley Improv cancels class at the Yacht Club

Valley Improv regrets that it will not offer the class in improvisation at the Yacht Club in Port Isabel starting Jan. 22. Despite efforts to get the word out, Despite efforts to get the word out, insufficient students enrolled to justify going forward.

Believing that the primary problems were late notification of potential students and setting the class at to great a distance distance from available pools of students, the principals in the class are planning the next effort and are currently engaged in a search for a more reasonable venue.

Not all in life works as planned, obviously, but that does not mean it’s time to stop planning. Personally, I can hardly avoid it. I suppose it’s something like the medium in which I thrive, and, like a shark in the medium in which he thrives, water, if I stop motion, I drown.

No. Not like that at all. But I do want to keep moving. For one thing, I’d like to see comedy established as something one can do in the Valley.
