Saturday, in the office, it seems. It wasn’t my dream, but that’s where I found myself, at board training for Planned Parenthood, becoming ever so smarter, I’m sure, but all the food in the offing was Crispy Creme doughnuts, highly sugared and filled with a variety of cremes, and here I am diabetic and I’m thinking, these guys don’t have a clue. I’ve mentioned it before, I guess I need to mention it in a more telling way. Nevertheless, I know a little bit more about finances and reading reports, and have volunteered for yet another committee. This is why I want real board expansion. At least twenty active members. I raised that number today and heard no objections.

Then home. Finding the heart there, I said, heart, let’s take a nap. And we did. And it was good. Then groceries and stocking up. Kathy’d taken the afternoon to Harlingen and lunched with Sandra. Good for them. So I guessed what’d be best for supplies and went. Uneventful.

Then I took me to the woodshed for a good talking to. Now comes evening, and I don’t think I need a plan. What’s gonna be will. We’ll eat something. Maybe just pizza. Who wants big stuff on a day like this? There’s a bag of salad in there. Isn’t there? From last week? I saw it, I thought.
