I guess getting a complex organization to divulge some information is more than an all day job. Don’t only bring your lunch, but bring the chuck wagon and a blanket roll or two.

Today’s calls disclosed that 1) Juan, the fellow who I talked to Monday who said he would call me Tuesday, turned out to be off Tuesday and today; and 2) the person– Meli, did they say?–who otherwise processes information and whom I was assured would call me this afternoon is in a meeting and may deign to call tomorrow.

And, as reader Patricia A. has pointed out, the city has an information officer who has nothing to do with information. I guess this is Amateur Night in city administration.
