Here we go into the transportation system. You commit yourself to a host of strangers from the security folks to the cab drivers and ticketing agents and pilots and flight attendants. And if you’re lucky and on your best behavior and none of the aforementioned folks are having what they call a bad day and the weather holds up and not too many planes are grounded by an airline in fear suddenly of the FAA which has recently grown some cajónes and issued some fines over safety and inspection issues–well, it might all work and deliver you to your destination.
So think good thoughts for us as we pass through the fly over country that believes the capital listens to it and holds its interests at heart when in fact it follows the law of the sea and jungle where the big swallow the small, some times whole and some times in pieces jagged and raw, and where if you attach yourself to the correct big one you may remain fairly intact, or so you will believe in your subsummation.
Peace be with you all.
