Ah! back where there’s easy access to equipment. It’s a lovely time to visit the nation’s capitol. Witness the following:
Okay. The last couple are a little on the artsy fartsy side. But one sees what one sees. The first was part of the view from my hotel window, which reminded me of some primitive paintings I have admired. I actually took six shots. The second was a reflection on the windows in front of the hotel at which the conference was held, one of four. What was attractive here is all that formality and structure of the buildings being bent and reshaped partially by the humans through the glass and the trees reflected in the grass. Works for me. Both sets are more or less notes for paintings I might get to if I ever get control of my time again and can linger over a project for a week or two. I paint slow, apparently.
