Tango lessons in McAllen

An announcement

Tango lessons are now available to the public at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce’s Creative Incubator. The first lesson will be held Saturday, May 24 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Creative Incubator, 1001 S 16th St. There will be a $5 per person charge. Lessons will be taught by Dr. Hok-Nam Kim and his Tango partner, Norma. Everyone interested in learning the popular dance is invited to attend.

“I am really looking forward to these lessons. Tango is such a fun and exciting dance form that very few people have the opportunity to learn and appreciate,” said Greg Schuller, Acting Director of Cultural Arts with the McAllen Chamber of Commerce. “With the recent increase in the popularity of Ball Room Dancing, I believe this is going to be a very popular class.”

The Tango lessons are open to the public, and all ages are welcome. Participants are asked to wear leather soled shoes. Space may be limited, so interested parties are encouraged to register by calling Greg Schuller at the Chamber’s Creative Incubator at 956-687-2787.
