A poem by Kathy Raines
Eyelash moon,
Like a fingernail clipping
Lighting just a little
No crackling, scented fires celebrate you,
No one goes mad or turns werewolf for you,
Falls in love for you;
You’re just a faint smile, a dainty, slender thing,
But in your slight, soft glow,
Millions of stars, obscured by brighter moons,
Glisten and sparkle and spangle the sky!

6 10 08 a.m. Kathy, …have listened to you for years, and now, I can read you! Always full of solid lines/images; thanks. (Now, I wish I could have figured out where Mars and Saturn were last night, somewhere in that southwest area of the moon and clouds. I know! The internet has numerous sky/moon/planet/star guides!
