Come celebrate the Grand Opening of Art Expressions and United through Art (U.T.A.) co-operative gallery. We proudly present our Artist and a Great Flamenco Dancer Abraham Lezama, who will be demonstrating Flamenco Dance and UTA Pan Man Guitarists Group with Kurt Martinez and students.

We are opening a multi-faceted cultural center in the Art District of McAllen, Texas. Art Expressions is a Bistro, Art School, and Live Performance Venue. It also houses the U.T.A. Gallery.

The Gallery inside Art Expressions is owned and operated by the United through Art co-op. As a co-op, the artists deal directly with the client with no extra commissions being paid out to the gallery. Its nine members are: Lilia de Anda, Duane Beard/ Ben Moran, Juan Carlos Garza, Ruben Gomez, Pablo Pena, Manuel Miranda, Malena G. Ramirez, Monica Maria Ramirez and Abraham Luzama.  Art Expressions is also a Cultural Center that promotes different mediums of creative expression on various nights of the week. Events such as;”Poetry Slam” on Tuesdays and “Open Mic Nights” on Thursdays. Live creation of art by UTA Members on almost every Friday, except the 1st Friday of every month.  On the 1st Friday we

have “Art Walk” When a featured artist has his art exhibit. Art Expressions is also an art school, where we offer art classes to children and adults. There will be classes in Oil, Acrylic, Drawing, Recycling Art, Drama and Flamenco Dance.

At the Art Expressions Bistro, we are proud to serve Gourmet Coffee from Veracruz (hot, iced, or frozen). We also have delicious deli sandwiches and special entrees every day.
