This exciting international folklife celebration will combine several highly successful events into one fun and festive weekend of music, ethnic foods, authentic cultural entertainment, arts & crafts, children’s activities and much more!

Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of EL MERCADO, an Outdoor Arts & Crafts Market at this Third Annual event, hosted by the City of McAllen, “The City of Palms”.

EL MERCADO

an Outdoor Arts & Crafts Market at PalmFest

On Saturday & Sunday, October 4 & 5, 2008

______ Yes, Sign us up for Arts & Crafts table front setup(s) at EL MERCADO at PalmFest! (Subject to approval by PalmFest.)

Regional crafts are an important element of EL MERCADO at PalmFest and we seek artisans and craftsman from across our Region and State who sell their creations. In addition, PalmFest reserves the right to limit types of vendors in an effort to eliminate duplication.

Date: Saturday & Sunday, October 4 & 5, 2008

Festival hours are 1pm to 10pm Saturday & 1pm to 8pm Sunday.

Location: NEW McAllen Convention Center; Ware Rd and Expressway 83-outdoor festival grounds

Fee: Approximate 10’ x 5’ table front space for $75.00 - 2nd space at $35.00

One 8′ table and one chair included per front space (additional items may be rented from PalmFest)

Electricity hook-up (standard 110v) $15.00

** If you are interested in a larger space and/or tent, contact us to for availability and pricing.

Rules: - Approximate 10’ x 5’ table front space in EL MERCADO area (breeze way)

- You provide the set-up for your table, chair, etc.

- You can display and sell merchandise within your table front space

- You can distribute product samples within your table front space

- Only single category products per table front

- Table front space(s) must be paid in full by Monday, September 29, 2008 in order to secure space. Make checks payable to PalmFest, Inc.

- Set-ups will NOT be allowed if not paid in full prior to event

- Set-up is from Noon – 8pm, Friday, October 3.

- Please check in by 10 a.m. on both days (Saturday and Sunday)

- All vendors are encouraged to decorate their spaces festively
