A note from Virginia Gause
The 3rd Annual CineSol 36 Hour Film Race was a success!!!
We had 23 teams representing Harlingen, Brownsville, Weslaco, Elsa, McAllen, Pharr, Edinburg, San Juan, San Antonio, South Carolina and Matamoros. Out of the 23 teams that signed up, 13 films made the deadline. Six films were submitted past the deadline but were still eligible for Audience Favorite.
The teams had 36 hours to do a ten minute movie with the following elements: It had to be Action, Drama or Comedy, a filmmaker, a tattoo parlor, a pig and say “Say hello to my little friend“.
Here are the list of teams and films with the awards they won.
