Pax Christi - Brownsville

Sunday, Sept. 21 is the International Day of Peace. To recognize the day, Pax Christi Brownsville is sponsoring the following events to which the public is invited.

1. Join the Rally for PEACE on the 3rd Friday of the month in front of the Post Office on Los Ebanos Street. This monthly rally began one year ago when the 9/21 peace-day landed on the 3rd Friday of September. Peacemakers will again be demonstrating for peace/against war from 4:30-5:30 on Friday, Sept. 19.

2. Be part of the Gathering to pray for PEACE on Sunday, Sept. 21 starting at 4:30 p.m. at Hope Park.

3. Join a discussion on “Why War Is Not the Answer” at the regular monthly meeting of Pax Christi Brownsville. This will be held on the 4th Monday of the month, Sept. 22 from 7-9 p.m. in the conference room of St. Mary’s office bldg. All are invited.
