1. Are there folks in these parts who feel underserved by the current public broadcasting organization?
2. Are there folks in these parts who’d like to see a new organization take up public broadcasting?

I’ve contacted Ms. Price over at UTB, but she has not responded. I’d like to know if she’s actually doing anything and, if so, in what form. I’m presuming, since she’s at the university, she’s in favor of a university based model. But that’s an assumption.

I want a REAL Public Radio station - and UTB/TSC is a logical place to start one - if it REALLY is reflective of Deep South Texas-Brownsville-Matamoros …. It could be a GREAT station, or, a flop; yes, I would volunteer - and, of course, share my slices of life/do interviews/provide story ideas ….
