Yes, Mr. Banker! You sure are! A system based on speculation and earth-depleting actions, and you’re on the frontlines - nothing to be proud of ….
“The banks are made of marble, with a guard at every door….”
The bailouts are made of deals, which rhyme with steals ….

Well, actually, they’re the MIR. Men in red, as in ink.
Greed is one of the seven deadly And, to my temperament, the least easy to understand… or forgive.
And it’s not really speculation if you can foist off the losses to others and then depend on the public to make them good.
But there’s a lot of people, whether they knew it or not, who invested in these failing banks, via 401K or pension funds. Now we’re SOL.
